NOTE: Many media outlets in Washington require taking the internship for college credit. These placements also have earlier application deadlines. The National Journalism Center is a 12-week program that combines weekly seminars, assigned reporting drills, and working journalism through internships with newspapers, magazines, broadcast outlets, and other media outlets. The Center will work with interested students to arrange for academic credit.
